Tehani Keshi Necklace
TEHANI KESHI NECKLACE
✨ SOLD OUT — heading to Tahiti soon for restock ✨ please email loveyou@mailovedesigns.com to be added to the waitlist.
A delicate bar of hand-strung Tahitian Keshi pearls floats across the collarbone on the finest 14k gold fill chain. Each pearl is its own shape, its own shade of silver, graphite, and peacock — no two strands ever the same. Small enough to layer. Soft enough to wear with everything. The kind of necklace that adds a quiet, pearled glow to your day, every day.
Each Tehani Keshi is handmade by Julie Mai in her Kauai studio — strung one pearl at a time, no two ever exactly alike.
About the name
Tehani means "darling" in Tahitian. Julie named this piece for her daughter Tehani — for her bright, sparkly, light-in-the-room kind of personality. That is the whole feeling of this necklace in one word.

About keshi pearls
Keshi pearls are the rare, free-formed pearls that grow without a nucleus inside the oyster — which is why each one has its own unique shape, color, and luster. They are 100% nacre, which gives them that deep, oil-on-water glow that round pearls can't quite match. Because they happen by chance, no two Keshi necklaces will ever look identical. Yours will be one of one.
How it wears
Beautiful on its own. Even better layered with your Mai Love Chains, your Floating Heart, or your Tahitian Pearls. The 2" extender lets it sit right at the collarbone or drop a touch lower over a tee or scoop neck.
A note from Julie
"Named for our daughter Tehani — 'darling' in Tahitian. She's always asking me to make her something sparkly. She has that kind of energy that lifts a room without trying, with smiley eyes and a big personality. I wanted a necklace that felt like her — dainty, wearable every day, with a little glint of color when the light hits. I made it light on purpose. Something you put on once and forget you're wearing, until someone notices."
